DistilaMax XP is a specially selected yeast strain designed for the fermentation of malted grain substrates. It demonstrates an exceptional ability to ferment maltose, maltotriose, and a wide range of additional sugars naturally present in malted cereals, making it an excellent choice for whisky producers seeking efficiency and consistent performance.

Engineered to withstand demanding production conditions, DistilaMax XP offers strong temperature tolerance and maintains reliable fermentation activity at temperatures up to 36 °C, without compromising flavour development or fermentation speed.
