The Alcohol School

For almost 40 years, Lallemand Biofuels & Distilled Spirits (LBDS) in collaboration with the Ethanol Technology Institute has proposed to the distilled spirits and the fuel ethanol producers the Alcohol School which covers multidisciplinary sciences of ethanol production.

Annually, we have been presenting several Alcohol Schools located in various spirits and biofuels producing countries.

The school courses are designed to provide our delegates with detailed information on both distilled spirits and fuel ethanol processes. Separate sessions are held, and where the technologies overlap, sessions are carried out with both groups together. Both the European and North American programs are designed for production, laboratory, and management personnel and are organized around lectures, laboratory demonstrations, seminars, and plant visits. Our courses are also appropriate for allied industries and government personnel to provide additional understanding and training. This important resource is becoming more valuable every year as market growth enhances the need for continuous education. Networking is encouraged throughout the event, meals, at organized dinners and during the tours.

LBDS, being consistently involved in the market, has also been providing additional Extra Credit Seminars in various locations around the world to bring locally our expertise and high level of educational programs.
